Sandia View Observatory (SVO) is located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, a suburb of Albuquerque at an elevation of 1640 meters. The skies from my backyard are not that bad considering how close I am to a major city. My main interests in astronomy are asteroids, comets and variable stars.

The roll off roof observatory contains a Meade 0.30m SCT OTA on top of a Paramount ME mount.
