Older Variable Star Observations

While processing images for ateroid 1484 Postrema last year I also checked my images for variable stars using Canopus' Variable Star Search (VSS) utility and came across two suspect stars. After running their coordinates through some data bases on the internet I found out I came across DV Vir and AR Vir, two RR Lyr type variables.

Here is the lightcurve for DV Vir from my asteroid frames.

DV Vir LightCurve

Trying my hand at CCD-V observations. Started with a time series run of TT Ari from the AAVSO site. I collected 231 images 30 sec each most of the night to produce the following light curve

TT Ari

AIPWIN v1 differential file
AIPImport converted to AAVSO format file of the above data. Ref star 118 was used, v-mag of 11.829 from chart 0710022 was used.

Something that I don't understand is in maximDL the SNR of a single image is about 1600 while in AIPWIN v 2.1.10 it's about 560.

Here is another run of TT Ari from25 Oct 2007
